Community Profile

This is a community for the East Asian nations which include China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan from the canon. Nations that have yet to be introduced but are part of the East Asia area include Macau, Mongolia, North Korea. Nations with heavy influences from the East but are not geographically located in the East - such as in the case of Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam - are welcome, but try to keep the emphasis on Eastern Asia. So for example, fanart including Vietnam would be welcomed such that Japan is in the picture. For now I'm going to say that only nations in Hetalia in the canon are allowed, but I've kept the non-Hetalia nations in this profile in case they show up at a later date.

Please respect all members, their opinions, and their contributions. This doesn't mean members have to agree, it just means they have to respect you and your work. Giving positive concrit and corrections are encouraged, just please be civil about it.

Kinds of work acceptable in this comm are art, fic, icons, videos, fan sound tracks, updates on Hetalia strips which have appropriate nations in them, crack theories, debates, historical research, roleplay, country birthdays, random geography musings, and anything not mentioned as long as it is related to one or more East Asian nation. Feel free to introduce yourself in your post as long as you have something to contribute. If your post is central to an Asian nation, it's automatically game, but if it's a request or better suited for any of the other Hetalia comms, please post there.

When posting your contribution, please use an lj-cut if it is over the amount of words in Lorem Ipsum. Any non-safe for work (NSFW) content must be put under an lj-cut, no excuses. Please label if mature content is under the cut. LJ-cuts are very easy to use, just go into HTML mode when you type up your entry and copy and paste your information between these tags: <lj-cut text="Type what you want the cut to say here!">Your content goes here</lj-cut>. If you're just linking to said content, the lj-cut is not necessary, just warn and link away. Please, please, please, please do not link under an lj-cut, people don't want to go on a random clicking wild goose chase!

I am an anal tagger, so I'm going to make this really easy for you all! In the tag section, please type "nation: (whatever nation included in your post)" and "type: (fic, art, music, etc)". If you have a pairing in your work, feel free to add "pairing: (nation)/(nation)". This is, however, optional. Any other tags you'd like to add, please ask. I probably won't enforce these too much since I like having the tags in order. I'll probably do a weekly cleanup, so don't worry~

Three warnings result in a ban. You will get a warning if you do not tag properly, do not use an LJ cut when necessary, or somehow or another break the rules.

Rules are general and subject to change if necessary. I think I got all the main bases covered. If you have a suggestion, question or complaint, please contact a mod through private message, which at the time being is just ria_chan. Replies from anonymous and non-members are enabled right now but these options will be turned off if abuse arises.
